Freako: lol. The weights landed on the stone pavers, not me. I jumped backwards when I lost the weight overhead, but because I was in the deep squat position I landed on my arse. Barbell pretty much went straight up and down. Now I need a new platform
I though today was going to suck because of the two long work days I have put it. Surprisingly things went quite well, just needed to practice each exercise otherwise I'd cramp (chest in dips) or lose the groove (chins, behind the neck jerks).

Skippy: I used to do a seated DB OH press of 50kg x2 DB's. At the time I didn't bench and just did that and dips. Since then I haven't really pushed the overhead stuff as much. I basically haven't done anything remotely heavy in 4-5yrs, including periods of no shoulder work at all. So just give it time. Plus I haven't traditionally done shoulder work standing, so basically a new thing for me.
Bulky: I messed up and did chinups instead of pullups. I don't know that it made a big difference, but it may have done.
Freako: Screw you for being better than me!!! Give me time. That 50kg x10 is still 5kg shy of my PB, not that I have done that recently.....

Ok I'm drunk and was having a glass of wine on the patio. I was staring at my DB's and thinking "Why not". So I grabbed them and did this just to see what I can do, when battling to stand straight, let alone press overhead.
Dumbbell Standing clean and press (single arm)
32kg x2 both arms
40kg x1 both arms
40kg x1 right arm, fail left.
Interesting, considering my OH max with a barbell is supposedly less than this.

Deadlift day went better than I thought it would. Bit uninspired but I still knocked out a good few sets. Technically 5kg better than last cycle, based on the rep max calc (215kg).
(I should include the deadlift walk of 100kg for 15m, as it killed my grip)
