for the last year and a half i have pushed myself hard with deads/squats as of lately i feel a slight bothering at the end of my lower back its not pain but it bothers me occasionally.does anything like that happened to you?I am quite scared with that one cause recently a very good friend of mine and an ex training partner(we started training together)suffered a lumbar disc hernia...the doctor told him never to train with weights again.I love training but in order
to train i first got to be healthy

Axel>> Yea I have a slight itch as well down there No, but I try to analyze which exercises have a bad effect on it. I have found that front-squats, power-squats and sumo-deads work for me. Olympic squats and regular deadlifts seem to accelerate the "injury" so I shy away from those moves totally. Experiment with different styles of squats and deads and find out what doesn't bother you. It's prolly different from my case ;)

Had a hard friggin day at school from nine to five topped off with a meeting with my thesis counselor This produced a solid head-ache and drained me of energy. Ain't nothin' to it but to do it though Decent session after all. And JB was cute as well

Somewhat redeemed myself on the bench today. I'm clearly stronger in the bottom part of the lift compared to lock-out. This must be dealt with. Boards and chains for ME henceforth Did pretty good on squats as well Thanks for encouragement through yelling to Tilly-Poo
