Yeh those rows are heavy for a deload session. But arn't you keeping the assistance the same, just reducing weight on major lefts? Looking forward to your next cycle lad.
thanks guys, last deload session today
1 warmup set
Olympic squats: (narrow, feet pointing forward)
1 warmup set
Lying leg curls:
Standing calf raises ss with seated calf raises with a db:
and a leg pic in the end, since its my last session for afew days
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
well wendler says u should do 10 sets of whatever exercises u like, its just assistance as he says. offc, u shouldnt do crappy movements that dont do much. for instance, ive scrapped alot of movements i used to do, like pulldowns, almost all curls etc. but ye, i think u should go with the exercises u feel gives u the most bang for ur bucks so to speak:) just dont push the assistance too far, u know, dont destroy urself by going to failure etc. focus on ur main lift where u want to bring up strenght.
ye, i was on a upper/lower split for ages myself, like 5 months straight, with no deloading or rest during that whole time, needless to say i burned out in the end
ye definetely give 5/3/1 a try mate, so far i love it. its just back to the basics and simplicity, which is what i needed. keep checking in mate
mvsf1: haha, i got them implanted:keke: thanks for commenting dude.
El freako: thanks mate, legs have always been a strong point, but after i started front squatting and squatting narrower, i think my outer sweeps have become even more pronounced, which offc is desireable to get that x-frame we all want.
big guns: not swole enough!!:D
Pickle: thanks heaps bro, really means alot that u think ive got what it takes to make an impact on stage. i may compete sometime next year when im done in the army and can focus more on my diet. problem is theres not many shows in norway, and the few that are here are not tested, which means i as a natty prolly will get lost in the crowd. still i would like to step on stage even just for the experience of it, so we will see.
Chadcruz: thanks bro although im nowhere near where i want to be. still alot of work to be done, but things seem to be going well atm.
thanks for all the comments guys. i now have 4 days off before the next training cycle. these 4 days will be spent just doing cardio and relaxing, and also calculating the numbers ill be using for the next cycle. until then, take care and thanks for all the support
Princevegeta: thanks dood
Flex: well, when i dieted down somewhat last year, the separation was there but not extremely prominent. i obviously didnt diet down to the point of stepping on stage. i was at like 8% bf. so when i diet down the next time itll be exciting to see. thanks for checking in dude:)
tkD: haha, dont get too carried away here:D thanks bro
co05: im glad u approve:keke: lol, thanks for commenting dude=)
did cardio today. morning cardio on an emtpy stomach. walked fast/jogged up on a mountain. its not high above sealevel. only like 300 meters, but its almost straight up all the way so it was brutal as hell took me about 50 minutes up and down.
