turkish 1530: yeah im pretty much a volume trainer, always have been really, for me its just about achieveing that horrific pump, thats when im alive really:) but im gonna try out another approach after cutting is done though:)
Today i did legs:
smith squats: these went well today:D
160kgx11(thats a pb for me):D
drop to 120 and immediately perform 14 more reps
lying leg curls:
after this i did some crunches and leg raises for abs+ i did some barbell wrist curls for forearms
finished off with cardio for 25 minutes:) went well today...

bb4life: yeah, i consider legs along with back as the most important day of my training week, considering that they make up half of ones body:) i know what u mean about people only being conserned with arms:) i was like that myself in the beginning thx for checking in man
Onebigeric: yeah it was an awesome session indeed, i was just mentally there, thats not how it is always, specially now when im going lower on carbs, i find myself struggling a bit more when training, less energy, just gotta push trough it and in the end itll be worth it i guess:)
Rocky: thx matey:) yeah i was really pleased with the squats thats for sure, i wasnt expecting to get a pb, i was actually considering going lighter, but when 140 kg went up that light i thought to myself oh well lets crush these legs today
anyways today is my off day, just eating and sleeping and maybe ill go for a walk later in the evening as cardio. Tommorow though im ready to crush shoulders, traps and triceps for u guys:D

Hell of a workout like always. Grewat chins, rows and deads. You must be exhausted after all that. ABout the grip slipping, you can use wrist straps, but they take awhile to get used to and may harm ur grip for awhile, so practice using them on like pullups and stuff, takes all forearm exercise and workout out of the lift though. ALso theirs gloves which work ok. But your best bet would be CHALK. My friend ordered some chalk from bodybuilding.com almost a year ago, between my cousin, my friend and myself we still have alot left. The shit lasts long and works great. I never had a problem of grip slipping with this shit, when i used to do deads, or rack pulls. EVen squats this shit helped out alot to keep it secure on my traps. SO id look for chalk works great.
Dobbs: thx alot man:) im glad u are here to post in my log, u really motivate and inspire me, and yeah ill try out gloves and straps, i will c if i can get my hands on chalk too. only problem is that the gym owner at my gym is the biggest asshole ever and will most likely denie me to use that stuff:(

No problem, the gym i used to go to doesnt allow us to use chalk, even though i always used it over a garbage can so none would get on the floor, and whiped down the bars after words. But if u get used to sraps it should be no problem. Also I think your grip will naturally stengthen jsut doing deads with weight that heavy, so your hands and grip will prolly get used to that weightOriginally Posted by Bulkboy
