I've been on it for about 12 weeks so thought I'd laoff for a month and see how I go then hit it again.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
leg press is your usual superior effort
oh look, even a PB on leg press, who would have thunk it, you..of all people, obtain a PB? how surprising
what happened on the squat? and I suppose thats one perk of doing them in the smith, if you need to bail you just slide them back on the pins.
shoulder work was quite well also, presses are all looking quite solid.
calves = moooo, excellent.
you can do more with biceps then that, I know you can
no mockery shall come from this post of mine, only praise you for the always outstanding work you accomplish
Bulkboy - To be honest I've read so much about Creatine I'm not sure what is right and what is wrong. I was under the understanding that by taking it constantly it may reduce your body's ability to create it itself.
Tweak - As always thanks for the kind words. Yeah I was a bit gutted about the squat. I may have been able to get it if I'd really got myself in the right frame of mind. Oh well, another day.
As for the bi's - yeah I seem to have dropped off a little weight on those lately. I've switched to using a straight bar instead of the EZ bar which may be the reason.
You don't need any excuses after that session, except that you're snorting a creatine, HGH, and steroid mix before your sessions (that would work, right? ) Very well doneOriginally Posted by Rocky

Vey impressive Upright Rows, congrats on the Calf raise PB too . About the Creatine, you say you saw no drop in weight when you went off? Thats exactly the same as me, i see no drop in weight when i'm off and when i'm on i see no gain in weight (that should make sense, it did in my head anyway ). Basically, i just plain don't see any god damn benifits from the "wonder supplement" (Maybe i'm Just a Non-Responder ay). Just out of intrest, i already know that the creatine doesn't affect what you lift, but when you're on it do you gain any weight?
knight rider - Thanks man. I really hope my squats continue to improve.
Hypo - Thanks. I'm working my way back up to the 90lb DB for military press which I got stuck at a few weeks back.
turkish - You know it!
miamiracing - Thanks bud. You knock out some good weight yourself so I appreciate the props.
basebody - Thanks man. Maybe I wasn't too clear. I was just hoping my weights don't drop off, because they normally do. I know what you mean about being a non-responder though. I've done Creatine 3 times now at different times. 1st time was beneficial. 2nd time I didn't notice a thing. Then this last time I managed to get most of my weights eavier than ever which is why I think they might tumble a bit. I just hope by not much as I take it badly and it knocks my enthusiasm and confidence. Next session tomorrow and I'm going back to the 100lb DB's on Incline bench which I always get stuck at 6 or 7 reps on. Last session I PB's the 95's for reps so hope it could be my day. Of course I was on creatine last week though...
base - thanks man. Just got to get the midset right.
Storm - Cheers buddy. Yeah the DB military's are getting back up to standard.
Pickle - Picky-poo returns to my log! :) Slowly but saurely my squat is picking up a bit. My lunges still far outshine them, I just hope they equate to some more size. And yes the pins are good. I went down, but didn't go back up again.
Well as per usual I was lacking in motivation before the session so stuck the i-pod in my ears to try and coax some aggression into the session. As previously stated I was expecting a drop off due to the finishing the creatine but was pleasantly surprised by the session. Here it was:

HANGING GRIP WORK
So was pretty chuffed. Took nearly 1 1/2 hrs which is longer than I would have liked but pleased about the DB Incline. I'd gotten 6 before but the last one was with aid - this time was just me. My form on the deads gets better every time with it being more directed through my legs rather than lower back with the initial lift from the floor. I hope this continues. It would be a right bonus to keep hitting PB's while off creatine and then push even further when I go back on. But I won't hold my breath. :)
That looks like an awesome session Rocky Well done for "conquering" the 100's on the incline m8. Dayyyym, hittin PB's all over the place, must be really happy about that. I'm particularly amazed at how you failed at 19okg deads once and then in the nest set you got it for a double, that shows some determination right there (But i also noticed you felt a tweak in your back on that set, really don't risk anything on deadlifts man, i know from personal experience that if you don't treat that exercise with respect that it'll kick your ass, so hope that 'tweak' doesn't turn into anything serious).
Thanks guys. To be honest I don't normally do a 2nd set of deads but the 1st set felt so comfortable enthusuasm got the better of me and after the 1st attempt fail (even though I've hit that weight before) I couldn't let it get the better of me. It's only a slight twinge in my lower right back. I think I just snatched at the weight a bit too much on the lift is all.
To be honest I was more heppy that I didn't do myself a mischief on the BB pullovers. I thought I'd go for 11 reps but just as I was bringing the bar back over my head I lost it and it came down right on my throat! Fortunately I was still holding it so managed to brace most of the impact. I'm a silly sausage! :)
