WWE No Way Out Results 2-17-2008

No Way Out: C.M. Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero[c] [ECW Championship Match]

The two size up. C.M. Punk with a quick tilt-a-whirl on Chavo. Chavo gets the upper hand back and tosses CM outside with a back body drop. Two count for Chavo upon Punk’s re-entrance.

Punk battles back with kicks but Chavo takes him down with a toe hold. Chavo hits a Senton and a two count. Chavo hits a side suplex, and then slaps on a body scissors.

Chavo battles out of it and hits a slingshot on Chavo into the turnbuckle. Knee lift to Chavo’s face, followed by a back body drop on the champ. C.M. charges Chavo in the corner who gets the boot up. Chavo springs out and charges, C.M. answers with a snap slam. Two count for Punk.

CM hits a suplex and floats over mocking Chavo’s trifecta suplex. On the third attempt, Chavo pushes CM off toward the ropes. CM charges and hits a running knee lift and a two count. CM goes for GTS but Chavo holds onto the rope to block. CM tosses him over the ropes to the apron and CM kicks Chavo to the head sending him to the outside floor.

Punk goes outside to bring Chavo back in, trying to avoid a count out and he pins him but for just two. Punk sets up Chavo on the top ropes in a seated position now. Chavo battling back with punches. Punk pushed off, but charges back and wishbones Chavo, crotching him across the turnbuckle. CM goes back to the well for a hurricanrada and goes for it. Chavo hangs on sending Punk crashing down on his neck. Chavo hits a Frogsplash for the three count and the victory. Your Winner: Chavo Guerrero

No Way Out: M.V.P. vs. Undertaker vs. Big Daddy V vs. Great Khali vs. Finlay vs. Batista [Elimination Chamber Match]

MVP introduced first and goes into a pod, followed by Vis who also pods up. Great Khali will start in a pod as well.

Finlay on his way into the final pod. That leaves us with Batista and The Undertaker to start things off.

Batista introduced. Undertaker is introduced last. Bell rings and the two exchange blows with authority. Batista takes Taker into the corner and shoulder blocks him a few times. Taker sends Batista over the top rope and onto the outside platform. Taker works on him a bit outside. HE tries to spring off the ropes but Batista kicks him in the head to reverse.

Back inside the ring and Batista clotheslines Taker down. Taker battles back up and throws fists to the head of Batista now in the corner. Taker boot chokes Batista in the corner.

More boot stomps by Taker.Taker off the ropes and Batista springs back with a back elbow. Both men to the ropes now and they connect on a double boot stomp. The clock ticks down and Big Daddy V is released into the match.

Vis with clotheslines delivered to Taker and Batista. Vis now taking a boot choke to Taker to slow the pace. Batista up and Vis relinquishes the choke to chop Batista and scoop slam him.

Vis Headbutts Taker and he falls backward through the Chamber door to the floor outside.

Batista hits a big Spine buster on Big Daddy V! Batista follows by clotheslining Vis over the top rope to the outside. Taker clotheslines Vis. Batista crawls through the ropes and pins Big Daddy V and gets the three count. He is eliminated. Countdown is on and Great Khali is the next one into the chamber. He goes right for Taker delivering a huge chop

Khali hits a Khali Bomb on Taker but Undertaker kicks out. Great Khali gets right back to his feet and attacks Batista, goes for a two count and gets only two.

Great Khali now applies the Vice Grip to Batista’s head squeezing the life out of him. Batista battles back with a Spear on Khali. Quickly, Taker big boots Batista. Taker then goes toward the chamber wall and Taker boots Runjin Singh through the chains while he is on the outside of the ring. Taker applies a triangle choke on Great Khali who taps out and he is eliminated.
Taker now back to work on Batista with kicks and punches. He pins him and gets a two count. Taker now drags Batista on the outside platform, raking his back across the steel. The countdown begins and Finlay is next into the match. He charges out of the pod straight for the ring and gets met with a boot from The Undertaker. Taker whips him to the corner and charges for a knee lift but Finlay moves. Taker caught n the rope allowing Finlay to work on Batista in the opposite corner. He sends Batista out to the steel platform. Batista hits the Celtic Cross (Novacain) on Taker and gets a two count.

Batista now battles Taker with punches, sends him to the ropes but Taker reverses with a clothesline. Finlay tries to steal a pin on Batista but gets just two. Finlay takes Taker and sends him through the plexiglass of the pod. Batista takes Finlay and rams him into the post. Finlay then plants Finaly on the top rope in a seated position, and superplexes him to the mat. Two count for Batista. We have a count down til MVP gets in the match now.

MVP tries to hold the door shut but Taker tries to rip it open. Taker finally gets in the pod and takes MVP out with punches. MVP is knocked out in his own pod. Taker goes back to the ring and big boots Batista.

MVP springs into the ring from behind and hits a flying kick to the back of Batista then one to Taker. MVP takes off his chain and chokes Finlay with it. Two count on Finlay.

Taker and MVP exchanging blows. Taker backs MVP into the corner. MVP then backs up onto the ropes, and then backs up into the top of the pod. Taker reaches up with a choke and tosses him down from the top of the pod to the ring. MVP takes a big spill. Finlay quickly crawls over and makes the cover of MVP eliminating him.

Hornswoggle pops up in the corner of the ring where the ring meets the platform and tosses a shillelagh to Finlay. Finlay grabs it and clocks Taker. Batista hoists him up for a powerbomb but while up, Finlay clocks him with the shillelagh. He pins Batista…1…2…KICKOUT!!. Taker now slaps a choke on Finlay and Chokeslams him over the ropes onto the steel platform. Taker pins Finlay ..1…2…3. Finlay is eliminated. Taker and Batista both busted wide open.

Taker and Batista exchange blows in the middle of the ring now and fans yell BOO when Batista punches, YAY when Taker punches. They go back and forth for a while until Batista Batistabombs Taker. Goes for the pin…1…2…KICK OUT! Batista climbs Taker in the corner rand pummels until Taker grabs Batista and Powerbombs him down! Slow crawl over for Taker..1…2…KICK OUT!

Taker calls for the Tombstone. He hoists Batista up and over but Batista floats over. Batista picks up Taker and dumps him into the steel chain outside the ring. Taker reverses by falling backward into a Tombstone and HITS! 1…2….3!! Taker wins the match! Your Winner: The Undertaker

No Way Out: Ric Flair vs. Mr. Kennedy [Career Threatening Match]

Bell rings and the two lock up. Kennedy throws Flair down and mocks him with some strutting. They lock up again and Flair chops Kennedy down. Flair struts a bit himself.

Flair has Kennedy in the corner and chops him. Whips Kennedy to the opposite corner and Kennedy dropkicks the knee of Flair on the return. Kennedy stomping on the knee now. Kennedy now takes Flair’s leg half outside the ring and slaps it against the canvas then wraps it around the post. Kennedy puts the Figure Four on Flair around the ringpost ah-la Bret Hart.

Kennedy mocks Flair and delivers him a HUGE slap to the face. Flair now locked in a Figure Four by Kennedy. Flair trying to turn it over and block it. Kennedy is taunting Flair mid move saying he will beat him with his own move. Kennedy laughing all the while.

Kennedy picks Flair up over his shoulders, Flair floats over and hits a chop block on Kennedy. Flair follows with a chop, and another chop block. Kennedy yanks Flair’s tights for a rollup and then uses the ropes for leverage. Ref sees and breaks the pin. Flair with a knee smash and goes for a Figure Four. Kennedy small packages him. Two count. Flair with a single leg takedown and applies the Figure Four. Kennedy TAPS! Your Winner: Ric Flair

No Way Out: Edge [c] vs. Rey Mysterio [World Heavyweight Championship Match]

Rey is introduced first. Edge is introduced next. The referee checks with both combatants and we have a bell. Edge sends Rey to the ropes and Rey reverses with a hurricanrada.

Edge big boots Rey and stomps him now on the torn bicep. Rey rolls outside of the ring and walks around. Edge catches Rey with a baseball slide and then sends him into the steps.

Edge stomps Rey in the corner and then picks him up, sitting Rey on the turnbuckle. Edge climbs behind him and pummels him then pulls Rey down in a tree of woe. Edge backs up and charges for a baseball slide but Rey pulls up and Edge crotches himself. Rey climb the ropes and moonsaults onto Edge. Edge sends Rey to the turnbuckle. Rey hits a Spinning DDT. Two count for Rey.

Rey goes to the ropes and tries to spring back, Edge Spears Rey in mid air and pins him for the three count.Your Winner: Edge

BIG SHOW RETURNS
Immediately following the match Big Show’s music hits, to a not-so loud pop in the crowd. Big Show makes his way to the ring looking to have trimmed down a bit. Big show gets on the mic and says he missed this place. Show says he will be a champion again, and it does not matter where. He says he’s not here to make guarantees or promises. He says he’s lost 108 pounds. He said he’s faster, meaner, and ready to be back in the WWE. Show hops over the rope and grabs an injured Rey Mysterio around the throat. Show starts taunting Rey to his friend Floyd Mayweather in the front row. Show throws Rey into the ring. Mayweather gets up and tries to rush the ring as Show is about to chokeslam him but everyone holds him back. Show hoists him up and Mayweather jumps the railing and charges him. Everyone charges after Mayweather to hold him back. Show puts Rey down and the two are now face to face. Show takes his jacket off. Mayweather stares cold and emotionless at the much taller show, who shoves him back into his team. They hold Mayweather back. Show drops to a knee to tell him to take a shot. Mayweather gets two shots in and darts away from the ring with his whole crew. The escape through the crowd. Show charges him as fast as possible but they get away. Shane McMahon comes through the crowd and stops Big Show. We get a close up of Shows face and it looks like one seriously landed breaking Show’s nose as he is bleeding from the nose and mouth profusely. Show is spitting blood. There was no announcing for the entire segment. Great tension builder.

No Way Out: Randy Orton [c] vs. John Cena [WWE Championship Match]

Cena introduced first. The champion Randy Orton is out next.

Bell rings and the two circle and lock up. Cena quickly inside cradles Orton and gets a two count.

Cena again tries a quick pin and gets only two. Fans start the “Let’s Go Orton! Let’s Go Cena” chant. Cena acknowledges it as they break. Orton kicks Cena to the gut. Cena now hits a bulldog on Orton and goes for a quick pin attempt. Two count only.

Cena with a back elbow to Orton and a pin attempt. Two count. Orton clotheslines Cena and a two count. Orton with rights on Cena who is entangled in the ropes. Orton delivers more blows, sending Cena to the ring apron. Orton taunts the crowd and Cena gets back with a jaw jacker then quickly climbs the ropes and hits a legdrop from the top rope. Two count for Cena.

Cena with punches on Cena who hoists him up for the FU but Orton counters with elbows to the head followed by an uppercut. Orton now stomps on Cena’s ankle, then the other ankle, then the shoulder, then and the bicep. Orton now drives punches into the surgically repaired pectoral muscle. Orton now has Cena in a side headlock and takes him to the mat.

Cena trying to power out of the hold. Orton off the ropes and Cena hits flying shoulder blocks and then the twirling powerbomb. Fans boo Cena who calls for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. He hits it and the crowd cheers. Orton pops up and Cena tries the FU but Orton avoids it wriggling free and getting outside the ring.

Cena on the ropes and goes for another legdrop but Orton moves and avoids contact. Orton stalking Cena now for an RKO. Cena slowly getting up using the ropes. Orton goes for it Cena turns it into a spinning Powerbomb and applies the STFU. Orton screams and squirms. Orton tries to crawl to the ropes. He gets there. Hold is broken.

Orton crawls to the outside and grasps his knee he yells to the referee to count him out because he’s hurt. Cena slides out and says he knows Orton isn’t hurt. All of a sudden Orton hits an RKO onto Cena on the outside floor. Looks like Orton took the brunt of that one. Referee starts to count out Cena as Orton gets back in the ring. Cena just barely makes in back in at 9. Randy Orton delivers a blow to the face of the referee getting himself disqualified. Your Winner: John Cena by dq After the match Cena angrily grabs Orton and FU’s him then applies the STFU to a tapping champion.

No Way Out: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga vs. John Bradshaw Layfield [Elimination Chamber Match]

Triple H out first and into a pod. Umaga out next. JBL is out third. Jeff Hardy the fourth to start in a pod.

Chris Jericho introduced as first of the two combatants to start things off. Lastly, Shawn Michaels will make his way to the ring.

The bell rings and Jericho and Shawn circle and lock up. Hammerlock applied by Y2J and HBK gets out, to the ropes, Jericho leapfrogs him and they each exchange knife edge chops. Jerihco to the corner, he floats over. Shawn does gets a pin and Jericho turns it into a pinning combination where they each go back and forth a few times. Jericho with a suplex into a pin, Two count. HBK powers up and another pin for a two count. Fast chain wrestling to start here. Jericho with a backbreaker and he taunts JBL in the pod and then slaps HBK a bit.

HBK nips up and hits an atomic drop and goes to the ropes. Flying Elbow drop but Jericho gets the knees up and Shawn elbow’s Jericho’s knees. Y2K goes to the ropes for a Lionsault but lands on his feet and tries the Walls of Jericho. HBK turns it into a Sharpshooter attempt but Y2J small packages him for a two count.

The countdown begins and we have our first entrant and it is Umaga. He storms in and clobbers both Y2J and HBK. Jericho sent to the steel platform outside of the ring. Shawn Michaels is bleeding from the nose it seems. Umaga has Jericho in a fireman’s carry. HBK to the ropes and he leaps but Umaga catches him on top of Jericho and hits a Double Samoan Drop.

Umaga goes for a flying headbutt onto Jericho who moves. HBK quickly to the top and drops a flying elbow. Jericho then quickly goes for a Walls of Jericho, and he turns him. While he is in the Walls of Jericho HBK applies a Crippler Crossface. The countdown begins and JBL is the next in who quickly delivers a big boot to Jericho and short-arm clotheslines him. Then shoulderblocks HBK. Spinning Neckbreaker to Y2J, and then JBL tosses HBK outside.

JBL hits a big boot on Y2J. Umaga powerslams Michaels outside who is bleeding quite a bit. Countdown once again and Triple H is next in he works on JBL then sends Umaga into JBL. Spine busters Y2J and one for Umaga as well. Then he DDTs JBL and goes for the pin. Two count only.

Pedigree attempt on JBL. Jericho drops Triple H and then pins JBL who gets eliminated. JBL goes outside and grabs a chair starts clocking everyone and then finally delivers one HUGE blow to Umaga to finish his night.

Countdown to Hardy’s entrance begins and he storms in and face plants Jericho and then elbows Triple H. He then springs off the back of Jericho and footstomps Umaga in the corner. Triple H and HBK send Hardy into the corner and he hits a Whisper in the Wind on the two of them. Umaga Superkicks Hardy and then delivers a spinning slam on Jericho. Umaga has lost nearly all of his face paint now, he sets Triple H up in a Tree of Woe and sends HBK into him then follows with a headbutt to Triple H himself. Jericho is knocked out on the floor up against the pod. Umaga charges and tries for a facewash but Jericho just moves and Umaga goes right through it. Inside the ring. HBK hits Sweet Chin Music on Umaga, followed by a CodeBreaker. Triple H Pedigrees him. Hardy to the top of the pod and he hits a Swanton Bomb on him. Jericho covers him right away and Umaga is eliminated. HBK Superkicks Y2J and Hardy quickly jumps on him and eliminates Jericho.

Triple H Pedigree’s Shawn Michaels and pins him, eliminating him. HHH now turns his attention to Hardy and they start to exchange punches. Hardy to the ropes, HHH telegraphs the back body drop and gets kicked. Hardy charges and HHH sends Hardy over the ropes to the steel platform. Hardy then DDTs Triple H and they are both down.

Hardy now climbs the ropes and flies to the outside to Triple H but he gets a kick to the guy by Hunter. Hardy back body drops HHH back into the ring and climbs the ropes, he goes for the Swanton and HHH moves. Triple H hits the Pedigree and goes for the pin. 1…..2…..HARDY KICKS OUT! HARDY KICKS OUT! FANS GO ABSOLUTELY NUTS!

Triple H gets a chair and puts it on the floor, tries to Pedigree Hardy onto it but Hardy low blows him out, then tries a Twist of Fate on HHH but HHH pushes him off onto the chair. The Game then hits the Pedigree on the chair and pins him…1…2…3 Your Winner: Triple H
