Dex will not win. Cutler is my pick.
Maybe your the Idiot not understanding. As the posing went on Jay got better(lost the fluid he was retaining), and Vic got worse(flattened out). And yes, the shows are judged this way, that is why it is a two day show, Prejudging and Final Judging. Are you an IFBB Pro Judge? No, didn't think so, but good try. Do you understand now? If you can't be mature without the name calling, don't bother responding.
Regardless, the scoring for the shows are done in an instance at the conclusion of each round, not while the athletes are actually partaking in them. The judges may, and hopefully do, make notes and scribbles as to how they see things but because no scores are awarded Victor was never actually winning the show. Technically he can be "ahead" in the minds of a judge but such a sentiment is meaningless and has no official "by the book" backing to it. This mental construct might have been how the judge you talked to felt but it certainly wasn't in accordance the actual scores that were passed down.
The idea that, throughout prejudging, either Jay got significantly better or Victor worse is a laughable notion. The primary issue with the faulty judging at the 2007 Olympia is that of the prejudging scores. Yes, we as fans are absent of luxuries such as front and center seats but through video feeds and high resolution pictures we can also be determinant in our decisions. Cutler improved a great deal between prejudging and the evening show but that's a moot point as he was still soft on Friday, the day of contention.
