You better use em, that's what we've been talking about the last two weeks. If we ever compete together and I beat you in the front double bicep because of my width, I'll give you the good ol' kick in the head.
I went in the gym today with a goal of crushing my quads, I believe my mission was accomplished. This workout was dedicated to my brother David Turk.
Quads (High Volume/Hypertrophy)
secondary work: hams/back/glutes
Front Squats (ass-to-grass)
Leg Press (Much larger degree than 45, more like 75)
10 plates x 10
12 plates x 10
14 plates x 12
16 plates x 10 (most plates it can hold)
Back Squats (ass-to-grass)
Deadlifts (focusing on legs, these felt amazing)
High-Rep Barbell Squats (ass-to-grass)
PWO Shake: 60 grams ON whey protein, 150 grams carbohydrates (corn sugar), and 5 grams creatine monohydrate.
Superb. plus the quad focusing on deads.. i've tried that with trap bar and plain bb
due to knee problems i used a "fixed" form.
But damn Flex, look at those leg presses !!
sadly, seems like most gyms, their leg press sleds can't seem to hold much anymore.
its for the people who want "fit" legs. :keke:
Diet for today.
Meal 1: Nuts, 2 tbs Olive Oil, glass of skim milk
(back to sleep)
Meal 2: Bowl of grits, 2 scoops whey protein, 5 grams creatine mono
Meal 3: Whole wheat beef tortillas (80/20 beef, ranch dressing), 2 cups brown rice
Meal 4: 6 whole eggs, plate of whole wheat pasta
Meal 5: 1 cup oats, 2 packets of Nectar whey isolate
Meal 6: PWO shake, 2 1/2 scoops whey, 150 grams dextrose, 5 grams creatine mono
Meal 7: 2 cups brown rice, glass of skim milk, whole wheat beef tortilla
Meal 8: Plate of whole wheat pasta, 1 piece of whole wheat bread with mayo, and whole wheat beef tortilla
Meal 9: 2 tbs olive oil, 1 small glass of skim milk
