I'm showing continuing improvement in my shoulder. No discomfort whatsoever today and that include doing my own rack outs. Vid below. Beware crotch shot at the end of the vid.

Vids of 1st and 4th pullup sets below. I smashed out a solid 20 in my first set which I was stoked with although they weren't as deep as I'd have liked. By the 4th set I'd lost the shirt and switched to a wide grip. Blatant vanity shot.

Even the first working set felt heavy so I knew I was in for trouble. Paz convinced me not to go to insane on the assistance since I was obviously suffering from some epic sub-parness. Hopefully next week will be better.

I repeated last weeks numbers due to my previous epic fail and did the heavy doubles first as this is what Paz and I will be doing for our next run of this routine. In the end I skipped the 4x4 and planned assistance work due to a mixture of time constraints and can't be fukcedness. Next week is deload then I am considering running the same peaking cycle with deficit deads as I ran before the comp.

I smashed my right pinky finger at work today, had a little disagreement with a forklift and some racking, so it made the session a little difficult. I couldn't get a proper grip of the bar when benching and I had to strap my right hand to the bar for pullups. On the bench I probably had a seventh in the tank despite the lockout struggles. Annoyingly I've never had lockout problems before so its something I might have to work on.
edf. the lockout seems to be your weak point right now, watching at the first 3 reps i was like "Why has he done only 6?" because you drove those first reps fast and with ease.
CG presses are suposed to help with that, and bands/chains.
Still it's some serious pressing that.
