if anyone even for a second thinks that any player that has ever walked this earth is even in the same stratosphere as jordan, you need to watch his clips and review his career stats. even after his silly decision to return for 2 years with the wizards his stats still pawn all. on top of the 6 rings and 6 finals MVP's to go along with i beleive 5 MVP's and 10 scoring titles (completely insane) plus the highest scoring average of all time playoffs and regular season. and not to mention while he did all this, he did it in awe inspiring fashion. without question one of the most gifted athletes to ever grace this earth and unquestionably the greatest basketball player of all time.

i would also like to add The 3-point line was instituted in his final NBA season from which he would shoot 66.7 percent on 10-15 shooting. i think was seperate jordan, bird from pete is the mentality, also he only played 10 seasons and he was the magic of his time b4 magic played in the nba. i´ll give jordan that he´s overall better but pete is just so much more than that he could score with ease but he could also pass like no one else
career stats:
G FG% 3PFG% FT% Rebs RPG Asts APG Stls Blks
658 .441 .667 .820 2,747 4.2 3,563 5.4 587 108
Pts PPG
15,948 24.2

some quotes from nba players:

"(Oscar) Robertson was the best guard I ever played against. Jerry West was the best I ever played with. And Pete is the best I've ever seen." -- Elgin Baylor

"He was the greatest ball handler I've ever seen in my life. He could do things with the basketball that were unbelievable." -- Rick Barry

"A lot of guys break the laws of gravity. Pete breaks the laws of physics." -- Red Auerbach

"Pete was 'The Man.' I'd just sit there and shake my head and say to myself: 'How'd he do that?' " -- Magic Johnson

"Pete was the original. He was the best ball handler I ever saw. Ever." -- Pat Riley

"Oh my. He did things with the basketball that players - still today - can't do. If Maravich was playing today, he'd be a god." -- Isiah Thomas

Max, you can't even argue he was even close to being better than MJ/Bird, that's just laughable.

MJ gets my vote as the best of all time, but Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain are easily up there.

this is retarded. i could post all of jordan's accomplishments and it would dwarf anyone who has ever stepped on an NBA court. educate yourself as to the superiority that was micheal jordan max, seriously.
