it may sound stupid but if he said he was 400 pounds off season, i prob would of believed him, he looked like a gigantic tub of lard
i dont understand how u can bulk up that much, then to come in weighing 11 pounds LESS! and ye i gotta agree now with u guys, he did not improve, he got worse. hope he learns from this and start utilizing the offseason more efficiently, not bulking up that much. but still i think he can still impress us. alot of things must have gone wrong for him to come in looking like this.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
Imo He was much bigger in 06, in two years he basically just improved his proportions.... Not impressed
The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all
kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron
will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference
point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in
the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It
never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two
hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.
don't believe everything you here. a lot of bbers will commonly be a little too gratuitous with their measurements and weight. he was massively fat in the offseason but no bber weighs that much. i agree with big04 you shouldn't have to lose more than 40 or so pounds for a show, especially at this high a level. i still can't believe he came in weighing less than the excalibur with all this time to get bigger. imo speaks volumes about his work ethic.
I also want to mention that he is too young and that he learned about it, sometimes more is not better, 5 pounds of pure muscle make you feel and look bigger thatn 20 pounds of fat and water, Phil Heath can show us what I said 16 pounds of marvelous muscle, he increased his off season weight in no more than 30 pounds and his nutrition was quite good.
