well i work 6 days a week for atleast 8 hrs a day (mon-fri 12-8, sat 10-5) and i usually get something quick for lunch like chinese or subway but im sick of spending money on fast food that isnt doing much of anything for me.

do u guys have any ideas for what i can bring with me to work for lunch? the place i work at has a microwave, its not very strong but it gets the job done and theres no fridge to keep anything cold. any help whatsoever would be much appreciated.

Make some chicken with brown rice with either ream of chicken or cream of mushroom. Its pretty good this way. As for the fridge i do this and so do some of the guys i used to work with. Do you have a little portable cooler. Not a hard plastic one but one thats fabric not sure which type it is. You can usually fit one or two tupperware containers and the cooling devices in them.

hmm i would suggest the same as Kcharger
not much of a mess when you eat either..
especially if you have chicken wings/legs :D
munch em and throw the bones away. easy and quick
to eat. good for a quick lunch break or whenever
doesnt take long to microwave either.

hmm.. a sandwhich? possibly, shaved turkey, wheat bread, slice of cheese, and microwave it a bit, some reason it tastes good microwaved then pour some ketchup or mustard on
no mayo, since it has fats etc.

get a can opener and just take some cans of tuna with you. You could eat those spread out and it would help you get in high amounts of protein.

oats in water is what i eat at my work, great source of carbs that you need in the morning and its cheap to.tastes bad tho

tuna cans are a good choice for protein but lots canned food aren't healthy,it is a good choice for once in a while but not in a regular basis
