What did you listen to as a kid?

As the title says, what did you listen to as a kid. Not in your rebellious highschool days, earlier in primary/grade school. Let the shameful confessions begin.

My one time favourites: East 17 (funnily enough I now live in East London very close to where they all began). I'm sure any Poms or other Europeans will remember these guys, not sure whether they made any waves in the US though.

Their big no. 1 "It's Alright"

First single "House of Love"

"House of Love" repackaged (they must have realised how silly they look, although the new look isn't much better)

"West End Girls" A Pet Shop Boys cover, nuff said

:methman:

Funnily enough I had "Its Alright" on the playlist at my wedding, it went down a treat! :keke:

Someone has got to be able to beat me on the shame stakes... :greddy:

I listen to pretty much the same stuff I do now. 60's 70's and some 80's as well as a few hits from 90's and songs that come out recently. I guess the reason I liked oldies is it was always on the radio in the car or house and it grew on me.

For Braaq:
Ace of Base

Criss Cross

I can just imagine Braaq wearing his jeans backwards...

I am ever so thankful for the day that someone handed me some Nirvana and Pantera tapes in highschool, I never looked back.

:2: Thanks :49:
Mjetallica was it for me, 8th grade I was exposed and never looked back. But then my taste has changed considerably. Flex actually got me into what I am into now: As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Devil Wears Prada, Five Finger Death Punch, Inhale/Exhale, Caliban, Blood Runs Black, etc... basically I am a huge Metal-Core fan:xyxthumbs:

I was a rocker growing up. AC/DC, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and I loved "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus.
