I think what posters here are not understanding is that the reason people are hating on Jay's physique more this year is because he did not fill out. Normally, he can get away with a terrible waist because of his enormously wide/thick back, but not this year. If people here can honestly not tell a difference between his back in 07/08 you might want to check with your eye doctor.

Jay's more dry this year, that's no question. But, he is NOT better this year.

Jay may have brought slightly better conditioning this year but as flex said Jay is defiantly not better overall....in my opinion he doesn't even deserve to be in the top 5 but of course he may end up winning the show still becuz judging is absoultely retarded

but its SAD isn't it.... you do only one show a year... and probably your last one at that too and you do not take care of these miner things... from the high res pictures you could also see he has hair on several areas of his torso.... did not even bother to shave them properly :dunnodude:

I'm not even going to say which year he looks better. To me, he looks bad in both years. He lost alot of size in his quads/hams this year and he lost his qaud sweep he used to have causing his wide waist (already) to look even wider. Also, like I have been saying for years about his loose folds of skin (which FLEX Online mentioned) on his whole lower back is just out of control.
