right now playing it maxed Ultra very high (heh)
1152x865 Vsync on, 2x FSAA 4XAA.
17-30ish fps average.

Unless the vsync "smooths out" the graphics in sharp turns with the mouse you should turn the vsync off, because it limits you to the refreashrate your monitor uses which often is 60hz

"smooths out" means that the graphic can lag a bit if you turn fast.

The dumb thing about this game is that the developers delibratly made Far Cry 2 less realistic then Crysis..still really good looking but not real looking
This is said to be a picture from a Crysis 2 tech demo

Game is based on futuremark engine.
I don't think it was deliberate, i agree though, it is less realistic
shaders i see in game aren't as good as crysis, also parallax mapping is a little poorer. im also running the game on Dirext X 10 mode.
seems like its what STALKER went through, sought out to be a helluva good looking game etc, turned out to be poor development and hyped crap.
well ..just like 75% of most games now a days ..

yea man, its pretty good, only thing it has that crysis doesn't is that fire and vegetation burnout, thing is it will be annoying if in a close combat fight or you got lots of enemies near you, and theres a fire. lol.
