Use Tversity, it streams almost every file format.
thanks sick, I finally got it to work. i found that tversity on a different site that recommended it. I might just get another computer and hook it straight up to my projector so I don't have to connect anything.
I will get 4 gig ethernet cards and put in each of my PC's and take one of my cisco routers from work so bandwidth will never be a problem again. Damn real HD 1080P takes a good amount of bandwidth.
I find it best to play 1080p files straight from a disc or from a HDD instead of streaming. When ever I stream 1080p files, I always get frame rate issues every 2-3 minutes which is annoying. You'd be best buying an external HDD and hooking up to your 360 to play your 1080p files.
