well so far i ripped the rear and front sway bars off, for better weight transfer out of the hole.
im taking off the tail pipes cause the friggin tires are rubbing on that shit like crazy
im taking out the bumper supports that shit weighs alot front and rear
i put in a new starter, and began to tune the carb and mess with the timing, but the car needs a tune up(plugs, wires, cap and rotor) before i can start to tune it
in about a week we are gonna install 4:10 gears, and later a UPR tubular Kmember.
So how much money are yall putting into this hoss?
^^ you did not run a 10.9 with a stock stang. I once spanked that gen of mustang that had a hundred shot and slicks along with all the other bpu's.
Now I drive an 01' Acura CL type s. Little more practical.

first off all ive done my h/w on the subject of drag racing.
you probably raced rolling right? thats not drag racing.
i stripped everything outta my car. a/c, p/s, sway bars etc
i slapped on a UPR kmember which is even more weight off the front end.
4:10 gears w/ 26 inch slicks
bolt ons were 3inch race crank pulley(rare as shit)
long tube hooker headers w/ x pipe and hooker dumps
i converted my car from speed density to mass air meter
the only thing my motor had was a f303 cam(which honestly didnt do much)
i had adjustable uppers(to adjust pinion angle for a better launch out the hole)
my weight transfer on the car was amazing, forget it out of the hole ill jump on you 8 cars and after the 1/8 your gonna need double the horsepower to catch up
i had a 200 shot of nitrous
my shit was basically stock, just the right combination.
if you know about Drag racing then you know exactly what i mean.
everything on my car was less than 2000 dollars and i made it run.
i know your talon had a upgraded turbo w/ a built bottom end, not saying its slow but you spent a pretty dollar on it, and i made a basically stock mustang run in the 10s and my buddy built a speed density one and made it run 9.90s.
i know what your gonna say, you got a v8 im just a 4banger. lol

ummm, not sure if you know what stock means? My stock truck beats those stock fox bodies all day long. Modding them, like you clearly have is a different story.
Stock to most people is just that, right off the show room floor. Not denying that your old stang was fast, because I have seen plenty of it in person but its no way, shape or form stock in my eyes. 200 shot of Nitrous throws that out the window.
really all my car has was suspension work and a short gear ratio
the best bolt on mod i did were long tube headers, i loved it

I did put some money into my Talon but it was worth it to me. I raced at a drag strip in Spokane; Spokane Raceway Park so it was always legit. Mine was AWD so I never got beat off the launch. By the time I let the clutch out, it was time to shift to second! I miss her!

hope you know that the 335i is faster than the m3 from 0-60 :keke: only the specs say its slower but in real life.. boom the 335i is about 0.3-0.4sec faster STOCK
