Line and Oloz: Watch a game of AFL then watch a game of NFL. Then talk to me about precision passes and movement and speed. And Oloz, I am not dumb.
I'm not particularly concerned about any code. I don't enjoy any rugby code, love AFL, enjoy NFL and think soccer is The fact is you can't compare any code with another for skill or speed or toughness.
It takes a lot more to get hit while wearing no padding. But adding padding does mean players are more likely to hit as they are less likely to hurt themselves. The lesser running and consecutive game time allows NFL players to be bigger. Plus look at AFL where you don't have guys running straight at one another unlike the rugby and NFL codes. The hits will be different.
