What type of weights do you prefer to use while trainig?

Pounds

vs.

Kg's?

I prefer Kg's because of the easier counting of the total wight and easier wheigh to increase the weights in the same amount

Example,

Olympic bar + 2 plates us (45 pounds)=135
that + 25's which most people use=185=increase of 50 poiunds

Then people change the 25 to a 45...225 total...so that's a 40 pound increase

Kf's it's always the same

Plus kg's are easier to post...simpler numbers

Which do you guys prefer?

Brits are gay and use a mixture of both. So im used to both of them. Pounds have smaller increments which is a plus side though. My gym has both

Metric. Kilograms are much better and is what is used in any international lifting competition.

There are only 3 countries that still officially use the outdated and innaccurate imperial measuring system: USA, Myanmar and Liberia.

But when all said and done it is just weight that you lift. The only advantage of an accurate measuring system is standardisation. Otherwise we could be measuring it in fridges or number of rocks.
