I am curious what you guys look for when you buy a DVD? Do you just buy it because it's a Pro or do you consider the content?

What do you feel is missing in the DVDs that are out? What would you change?

Who else would you like to see a DVD from, maybe a younger Amateur? Something more along the lines of a Documentary/ Reality?

I actually lift at home for the time being and have a TV in the same room as my lifting equipment, so they're good if I'm not feeling too motivated that day.

However, I do feel they have generally been far overpriced. It's cool to see how they prepare for a competition and what their daily life is like, but not for $40+.

Pumping Iron is probably one of the most interesting ones out there for several reasons.

1) Good training footage, but it never stays on that for too long.
2) Shows a good number of guys.
3) The bodybuilders exhibit personality.
4) It emphasizes the spirit of competition.

Honestly for me it's workout intensity, I want to watch them and get motivated.
such as Ruhl, Branch and Coleman. the other Pro's DVD's are filled with non motivational gold gym workouts no intensity.

I also enjoy the gritty reality of how difficult the life of a Pro BB'er is.

Brnach shows that throughly.

Hope that answer helped.
