Was the first movie I bought on DVD. :350:

Same here, with my PS2

Alien by far for me. Its not often that a movie can stand the test of time like alien has. Still a great deal more disturbing and terrifying than many of today's horror movies. The chest-burster scene is still just awesomely gorey. That movie was so ahead of its time.

That said, Gladiator and Blade Runner are two amazing pieces of cinema as well.

No I dislike it because it is melodramatic, lacks a strong central character and Orlando Bloom just stands around doing that same startled look he always gives in films. The only two decent performances in the film are from the opposing general and the antagonistic knight.

Liam Neeson, Alexander Siddig, Jeremy Irons, Edward Norton :dunnodude:

Liam Neeson - dies in the first 10mins

Alexander Siddig - was one of the roles I referred to as being great. The muslim general under Saladin.

Jeremy Irons - I thought he was ok, but his role was rudimentary and limited screen time.

Ed Norton - pretty rudimentary role once again and he has a mask on the entire time and little screen time.

Marton Csokas - was good.
