Cinemassacre's Top 10 Car Chases

Great scenes, Bond's, Bullit's one are definitely in the top 10, but i'd add Matrix Reloaded highway chases (with the Ducati and police cars), Terminator 2 truck chase scene, Ronin etc.

The Duel's chase remindes of (the truck) Jeeper Creepers 1, which was a good (and scary) chase as well imo.

I was actually surprised to see Death Proof at number one, though I won't really dispute it either. More surprising was the inclusion of The Blues Brothers, which I hoped would make an appearance. I'm a bit surprised he didn't include The French Connection's, though it seems he's going a bit more for entertainment value than how essential it is to the story, so it's an understandable omission.

Totally agree with matrix reloaded: definately one of the best car chase scene, if not the best.

The best chase scene is H.B Halicki's Gone In 60 Seconds (1974) 40 MINUTE CAR CHASE PEOPLE! H.B Halicki did ALL the driving himself. Man had balls! :headbang:
