aside from the basics, most of the things they did back then we BS . forexample..... working out for 7hr a day LMAO wow thats way too much, dorian worked out for around 45 minutes if i remember correctly

Actually having read through it there's some pretty good info there.

His basic mass plan is great and IMO what most beginners/intermediates from this site should be doing. As far as his advanced program goes, sure his volume was epic and probably far beyond the physical limits of most normal trainers, but if you reduced his routines by knocking off a final exercise or 2 from each bodypart you have a good routine without the risk of heart attack.

Also note that he did none of the exercises which some wannabe bodybuilders believe so vital, ie. cable crossovers and leg extensions, until he hit his competition phase.

that's true.

Why the hell in off-season you want to do cable crossovers.? it isn't going to add any mass.
