So what do you wear to lift weights, especially for squatting?

something with hard FLAT sole.
I see people squating with shox.. men I don't get it..
flat sole for me always, better for squats and even for barbell curls witch sometimes I leaned forward too much, losing my balance ( when doing with a high heel running shoe).
Cardio - running shoe.
Like these but not Chucks

I love the pump because when the pump arrives it's better than cumming. And because I really like working out a lot, it's like I'm cumming all day.

Strange, my vote for bare feet is missing (or in the wrong category). I'm a bare feet or flat soled shoe guy. Ever since I started training in a pair of skate shoes I can never go back to any cushioned shoe.
Ideally I'd get some weighlifting shoes, but sizing and fit is really important and hard to do without trying them on.
Short tale about training in running shoes; I remember the day I stopped training in them. My gear had been in my car sitting in the sun all day so when I fished out my running shoes to go lift they were all hot and the gel inserts in the heel were swollen. When I went to walk around it was like I had balloons strapped to my feet. Then trying to balance while squatting that day was hell. I started wearing my skate shoes the next day.
I suppose no-one has actually pointed out to people that lifting actually requires lifting shoes not some sort of squishy running/crosstraining shoe.
for squatting and deadlifting though mine don't have the ankle support that the ones pictured do. atheltic/basketball shoes for everything else.
