I just got back from the gym and decided to post some vids of me squatting. The first set of 1000lb the plate falls off when I lowered so no second rep and there is a heap of camera glare from the mirror so got a better angle for the second set.

I was warmed up so ripped of the track pants and shirt. I also thought I had more in me so I added 5lb (2kg) for a 1005lb single


I reckon I'm good for another 20lbs at least. And I don't get the big deal about these guys that have to wear PLing gear to squat a grand :talkhand:

Squat depth is totally overrated. Just watch, your quads will explode in size.

Great work. May I recommend turning your feet as far out as possible when you squat and try pushing your knees out as well in order to recruit the VL better.

Your form is textbook perfect. You are truly a motivation for me, and I will defiantly watch your videos before I'll train legs.

Tim you squat deeper then duality and with double the weight! You should add a box on each side apperently they are brutal.

How is it dangerous for my knees? At 5-6xBW it is only equivilent to jumping in terms of force.

It's all about mass building. Gotta lift heavy to get big.
