Edit: in regards to Tunen's post below, this is article is aimed at a powerlifting squat. If you want to lift heavy then this is the article for you.

The applicability and relevance of this depends on your goals. If you want huge quads (which I assume since this is a bodybuilding forum) wide-stance, low-bar, box-squats are just not the way to go.

If you compete in powerlifting or just desire strong hams, glutes and erectors, it's a whole nother situation though

In general I'd advocate that people who want big wheels learn to squat by and like weightlifters. Not by and like powerlifters.

Although my quads are still growing and all I do is low-bar squats and boxies.
