In the interviews I've seen over the past 24 hours, Jay's acting a bit different than past Olympia's. He's "thanking people for their support over the years" more than usual, and just overall being very modest in comparison to the past.

I believe he said in the past he planned retiring as early as age 32, now he's 36. Do you think this is his last year?

I think its a big possibility that he does. He might change his mind if he wins though

Imo if gets placed low the retirement would be very possible.

it is more likely that he is finished if he wins this year than if he doesn't.

If he will win this year, then I think he might change his mind, if he will place somewhere between 3rd - 5th place, then probably he will retire.

Anyway he was and still is a good bb'er, and a great person for this sport.

In an interview with Flex Magazine (Last Month), he said this is it for Jay Cutler. Then the interviewer asked so if you don't win this year you're done with the Olympia?

He then went on to say If I don't win this year I don't see myself winning it again, however I will still compete in the O!
Kinda weird, but I guess its still money in his wallet...

Didn't he say he wanted to win 3 Olympias? So based on that he will retire if he wins.

If he doesn't win, I don't see him competing again. The judges would have sent him a clear message that he isn't what they are looking for anymore. Anyway, he obviously worked very hard for this one and will be bitterly disappointed if he doesn't win........and so will MadMax!

I think the only way Jay will have enough motivation to step on stage in shape is if he risks cutting his hair again.

Actually I really think he is in shape and can take the title back,

and also I haven't seen MadMax so mad on the forums as well, so that might be a sign :bitenails:

Yes he has, but first he said he wanted to retire around 32, like Flex said... I think this is his last, Jay doesn't seem to love the training and everything like a Ronnie Coleman does.

He certainly does an amazing job for not "loving" it.

I always figured he was worried about his health.
