Well, if we were using today's judging standards he would probably be 3rd-ish.

But if we're talking about how they were for their time, I'd have him behind a good number of winners.

You can't possibly use today's judging standards...
To expand, I think if you were to rank the Mr. Olympia winners, I'd start with examining the validity of each win (which would incorporate the dominance in which the athlete won in relation to the caliber of competition they faced) and couple that with the amount of trophies they've actually captured. A somewhat crude approach, sure, but at least there's a basis for its approach.

Now if someone would like to actually assess the athletes based on this criteria I'd be happy, as I'm far too lazy a man to do it now.
