sucks about ur ham man! solid sessions!
Actually I had strained this ham last year, playing basketball, and the area since then haven't come back to normal, it didn't hurt but was not 100%. Anyways, it was a very small injury and in 2 days I was back to squat and deads.
I think I push too hard on the GHR last week (6 max reps at an assistance exercise was not very clever) and my ham was not ok for the hole week...the injury is at the insertion and in the tendon, a little bit in the muscle...it hurts when I flex my knee, but it's worse when I strecht.
Anyways, I still have my upper body to train and tomorrow is bench.
im really sorry to hear about the injury rob. hope it heals up quick. on a sidenote, the benching in ur last session looks excellent.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
6@bw+35kg >>> PB
3@70kg >>> need to re-grip after every rep, not full ROM...this is called crap form.
Rear delt flyes
Wrist cable curl
I need direct work for my forearms, skinny bastards:bball:
Finished with abs and calves. Nice session!
Meh. After a 150kg squat I realize that my ham is not good enough, so I went light.
4@110kg - wore my adistar weightlifting today, big diference. My chucks will be for deadlifting only.
Partial sumo deadlift
3x10@? - funny, leg curl is fine
Good news: this week I'll squat everyday cause such easy workouts:gaysign:
And a good read for the strength maniacs:
