Make your pick who will win the biggest sporting event in the world?
(Poll top ten based on current FIFA rankings, and yes the FIFA rankings are a bit of a joke).

I know Maradona is a nut case, but I think Agentina may pull it off.

Who will captain England during the World Cup? Appreantly Ferindand is out due to injury.. Will King take his place? Or Gerrard? Or will they give it back to Terry? Had anyone heard anything reguarding this?

Yes, he got injured by heskey in practice. King will be taking his starting place (although he has chronic knee problems) and gerard will take captaincy. Don't think Fabio would give it back to Terry.

Hate to say it be Spain looks good almost every World Cup but they never win it... Althuogh I will admit I dont think theres been a Spanish side recently thats as good as the current squad.

Yea, would be odd seeing Terry get it back. Good to know that Gerrard will be captain. And to be honest I think King is a better defender than both Terry or Ferdinand.

So, we Spain lose agains Switzerland. Man, what a shame, more than 30 shots -> 0 goals.

Swiss pepole kicked twice and they scord a goal.... fuck...

Are you really suprised through, sure spain probally have the best squad in the world at the moment, but you have to remember this is the World Cup.. Spain pretty much have to choke... its sad but true.

I know its not for a couple of days but Brazil vs. Ivory Coast... I think this game will be awsome! lol I know pretty random statement to make but I think it will be.
