I've been waiting for a thread like this!

I've come across several different lists that vary widely. I'm curious which one most mecca members find reasonable.

First, Wendler's Standards of Strength.

Bench 315x20
Dips BW +200 x 10
Pullups BW+100 x 10
Strict overhead press- 315x1
Squat and dealift 500x20-
Barbell curl -185x10

T-Nations Standards of Strength

Exercise Decent Good Great

Squat 315 or 405 or 455 or
1.5bw 2xbw 2.5xbw

Bench 225 or 315 or 365 or
1.25xbw 1.5xbw 2xbw

Deads 315 or 405 or 495 or
1.5xbw 2xbw 2.75xbw

Well, which set of standards do you think is the best?

hey guys, are these lbs or kg?

Also, is that press a standing shoulder press, or seated press?

Wendler's standards are meant to be insane, they're for elite strength. Wendler himself hasn't achieved most of them.

And the exrx.net tables are the same one's I posted.

yep saw it. Although I dont get it. The elite crossfitters are pretty strong if you ask me so even for them its a bit on the low side.
