What are your goals/resolutions for 2011. Physique and personal. Will you be starting something new, giving up a bad habit, hitting new heights?

Me

Physical

  1. Compete in my first sanctioned powerlifting comps
  2. Add 20kg to my squats and deads and 10kg to my bench
  3. Maintain and improve shoulder function
  4. Take better care of my knees
  5. Get abs for my 30th birthday
Personal

  1. Buy a house
  2. Return to studying full-time
  3. See my best mates more
  4. Surprise my wife more
  5. Become an awesome uncle

I try to avoid the NY's resolutions because it always feels like a cop out. What's wrong with any other time of year?

Having said that, as of today I'm on a diet. I've hit 96kg (legs, arms, chest, back all bigger, but so is the waist), it's time to lean down. I'm also looking to deal with my health problems and get them manageable.

Physical:

1.Bring up my delts
2.Bring up my upper back
3.Bring up my forearms
4.Get my deadlift back up to where it was; my max i think was 385 or 390 while doing 315 for reps
5.And finally, get a six pack for the first time, going to start cutting again when school starts.

1-3 are all about looking muscular without having skin exposed and without flexting... since i started working out to this day (litterally the day before yesterday) people say i dont even look like i workout unless i flex... So bringing up my delts, traps and forearms i will look like i actually workout while wearing regular clothes lol.

Personal.

1. Become faster and looser at painting.
2. Do more commission art.
3. Get a collection of art to do another art walk coz its been years since my last display.
4. Clean my room more often.
5. Make new friends and hang out with different people.

Physical :

gain some weight, (more than 3lbs )
keep my hair straight, and comb more often
keep my beard clean
dead lift 500lbs for more than 1 rep.

personal :
get used to crowds better for going out
get more sleep before work
try to go back to school.

I agree, all of my goals are goals I am already working on, the physical ones in particular. The New Year is just a starting point I can use for comparison to see how far I've managed to get in the year.

Same here, most of the stuff i listed are things that i've already been working on except for the things i have to wait until school starts.

Get lean. Once again I "bounced" back up during the fall and winter. So now it's time to get serious again, clean up my diet and get ripped.

keep eating clean like i have been doing
get under 80kg, so i need to lose around 4kgs
