Learn to squat deep.
My workout is different and quite effective. I do regular walk in the morning. It is best exercise and i suggest everyone to do it because it keeps you active all the day.
Personally I don't like heavy gym workouts, so my advice would be to do cardio exercise that is best suits your interest and needs. I like running and cycling. Running is the best cardio exercise, and I suggest it to everyone. Its beneficial for almost all type of fitness issues.
