Troy’s weekly road to Olympia 2013
Hi everybody Troy here, coming to you every week from now til the Olympia 212 showdown.
I will give you a little insight into my prep for the biggest challenge I have faced so far in bodybuilding.
I will show you my training, nutrition, and supplement regime for this prep.
This will be a very challenging field of competitors at the Mr. O weekend.
I will have to present the best Troy Alves the world has seen if I’m to walk away victorious.
This is a very exciting time in my career and I really want to share this with you my fans.
I started my morning with 6 egg whites a bagel and 2 scoops of USN protein and oats.
Then off to train my first client at Gold’s in Peoria AZ.
Using my USN pre workout I prepped myself for chest day.
I began with machine flys for 4 sets, higher reps here to really pump and stretch the chest and prepare it for what’s to come.
Next on to incline dumbbell presses 1 warm up movement and 3 working sets pyramiding up in weight.
I kept the reps between 20-15 on this exercise.
Next I hit the hammer strength flat press for 3 sets at least 12 reps per set, concentrating on a full range of motion.
Finally I finished off with cable crossovers for 3 sets of 15 or more reps, really squeezing the chest
not just jerking my arms back and forth with to much weight.
Then time for a few photos to email to Chris Aceto, my diet coach.
He will analyze my shots and tell me what to do diet wise to dial in the best physique I’ve ever brought to the stage.
Then a quick protein shake of USN endurosport fast carbs and IGF1 protein and back to training clients for a few hours.
Then home for a meal 10oz chicken and 1 cup of rice. Then a nap.
Then my last two meals of the day are 10oz tilapia and 8oz sweet potato and then my USN dessert protein before bed.
In all I eat 6 meals a day.
