Do you all think its more beneficial to have a legit bulking off season, or to stay closer to competition year round? Any positives and negatives for each?Similar Bodybuilding Threads: Bulking Up Bulking Confusion Bulking Up! Need help Foods to eat when bulking Bulking Diet
I prefer staying in shape all year round. Easier to maintain, and probably it's a personal thing, but I also feel better while training.

Yes id have to agree, just seems unnecessary to bulk up so much just to have to drop all of that weight to cut down.
I'm with tkD on this, I dropped to 14%bf and I feel better. I dont want to go higher than 16% again...
so once you do start legit bulking, the diet wouldn't change a whole lot would it, in order to stay lower in bf%?
I'd say yes. Try to eat clean all year round, just make adjustments to the amount of food...
okay yeah that makes perfect sense
