Low testosterone
Bodybuilding isn’t simply a passion, it is a way of life, and it has to be said that the bodybuilding lifestyle is not an easy one. Building muscle is notoriously difficult, and if you’re looking for a quick fix when it comes to bodybuilding, well, sadly, you’re in for a great deal of disappointment. Bodybuilding requires dedication, it requires motivation, it requires discipline, and it requires patience. We’ll now be covering a pretty controversial topic in the bodybuilding world, and that is the usage of testosterone. Testosterone is potentially very beneficial for bodybuilding purposes, providing it is used safely and correctly, and without getting into a heated debate about the usage of steroids and hormones in bodybuilding, we’ll simply be looking at the major benefits associated with using testosterone for bodybuilding purposes.

What is testosterone? – Testosterone is the dominant male sexual health hormone which is produced within the testes, via the Leydig cells, within men, that is. Women can also naturally produce testosterone, although the amounts that they produce are much, much lower than men, and they produce the hormone within their ovaries. In both sexes, we also naturally synthesize the hormone via the adrenal glands, although the amounts produced are much lower. Testosterone is a steroid hormone, so it can be grouped within the androgen class of natural hormones within the human body. Testosterone plays a key role in: the growth and repair of muscle tissue, in muscle strength, in muscle recovery, in athletic ability, in libido, in fertility, in aggression, and much more besides. Put simply, increasing your testosterone levels can be very beneficial, yet sadly, natural testosterone levels quickly diminish as we grow older. To counteract these effects however, some men instead choose to inject testosterone into their bodies, and it is the main benefits of this that we’ll be looking at right now:

Muscle growth – One of the primary benefits associated with injecting testosterone into the human body, is the fact that it has been proven to dramatically increase muscle growth, due to the fact that it is anabolic. People that inject testosterone and who regularly engage in resistance training will see very impressive increases in lean muscle growth, in a relatively short amount of time.

Increased red blood cell production – Studies have also proven that testosterone injections can indeed result in an increase in the production of red blood cells. What does this mean? Well, red blood cells help to transport and carry oxygen around the body, via the bloodstream, to working muscles. This in turn removes lactic acid and increases muscle cell energy, making the muscles stronger and more effective. This allows for optimal hypertrophy and muscular overload, which correlates to an increase in workout productivity. Put simply, more red blood cells allow your muscles to work harder, so you get more out of your workouts in the gym.

Increases in strength – Another very prominent benefit of testosterone, is the fact that it helps to increase a person’s overall strength levels. Testosterone allows the muscles to generate more power, which results in increases in strength and more impressive lifts in the gym. Again, everything is related as the more you can lift, the easier you will break through plateaus, and the more muscle you will build.

I was just curious. Do female body builders use this product? How would that work towards tipping off body hormonal tune?

Thank you for passing across this vital piece of reasons to use testosterone. I would like a moderate intake of the hormone to build up strength.
