Melissa Valliere Early Life​

Melissa Bumstead Valliere was born on the 6th of December 1990 in Canada. Growing up, Melissa had always been an active child. She participated in different sports but she never had the intention of becoming a professional athlete. She wasn't even involved in any strength-related sport until she got married to Iain Valliere. Iain Valliere is a professional men's bodybuilder.

Although, she had a bit of knowledge about bodybuilding because her brother Chris Bumstead was an active competitor in the IFBB Pro League and he's also a Mr Olympia champion. After she got married to her husband, she watched him train and compete and that sparked her interest in the glorious sport.

Melissa Bumstead — Bodybuilding Career​

After working out in the gym for some time, Melissa realized that she was a fan of how toned and sculpted athletes look on stage. She felt that these women athletes are changing the narratives for the average woman and they were doing great work bringing elegant physiques to the stage. This was a motivation for her to put in more work to achieve this elegant physique and enter competitions too.

After she spent some time working out her shape and physique, Melissa entered her first competition at the 2015 CBBF Canadian Bikini, Figure and Physique Championships for the first time. And in that competition, she won in her weight class and overall. After that event, she knew that she had found something that she wanted to do and not stop for a long time.

After she earned her IFBB Pro card at the 2015 Canadian Nationals, Melissa Valliere entered the stage as a professional bodybuilder for the first time at the 2016 Toronto Pro where she placed fifth. But some packages of steroids were found in her possession but without a doctor's prescription and that makes it an illegal drug.

According to the reports, it was discovered that the package contained some substances like Drostanolone Propionate, Oxandrolone, Testosterone Propionate, Trenbolone Acetate, Stanozolol, etc. These drugs would have been legal if they came with a prescription because they're being used for bodybuilding but it's still not the best way to gain weight.

It seems that she has been under investigation and surveillance for a while because powder from the package was found on her hand when she was arrested which means that she owns the package.
