How do one measure body fats? Is it same as BMI? Is there a formula? What exactly does it signify?

Use calipers to test your body fat. Bmi is useless if you exercise

I don’t know if I am right on this. When my wife started developing flabs around her waist, she ventured into a rigid morning exercise. She bought an equipment that she used for sit ups that she thought would trim her abs. When she asked how she would know if it is effective, my suggestion was for her to use a tape measure. In her first month of her program, she has lost 2 centimeters as per the tape measure. It may be right or not but definitely that measurement fired up her desire to work out for more.

Calipers? And how do you use them to measure te body fat? You mean the thickness of the flab? I am totally new to this.
