great session man! awesome that ure getting stronger, the bench looks real good, always nice to get a pb there and the db presses dont look to shabby either...

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
    Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
    I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

lol well i did try to give you some advice about your sqaut technique a little while ago...how did that end up............go have a look at your sqaut video, just before you get into the deep sqaut postion you start to rise with your back really fast, and you let it bend to much.......you need to try and keep you back steady when you rise up, instead of bending your back and then following with the legs....

i havent seen your deadlift technique but i suspect your going back first and then legs.......it explains any back problems....hope you fix........you looked gnarly cut in those pics you put up, good stuff

neg, as I told you in the neg, I've had reoccurring back problems for 3 years now. My squat form was right on with the exception of my left hip weakness.

Your not right, your rarely right, just because I hurt myself ( I was never 100% in the first place ) doesn't make your dipshit self right.

Don't come in this log again trying to scrutinize when your a tart.

Paul - you'll never dominate me, ever. true story. Maybe in legs since I'm done with squatting, done with deadlifts, for good now. 3 injuries in 3 years, I have one body. I'm 20 years old, I rather be walking around when I'm 40 then paying for it because I was a dipshit 20 years ago.

The biggest difference between you and me is you're you, and I'm me. I always win. Sorry bro.

Good job for getting in there and getting something done and working around it and still getting a better lift on the benching. Hopefully these couple of days off will only help further.

I've been having quite a bit of energy lately and nothing to do with it, so heres the little session I threw together today

    Db Shrugs
    75x15
    85x15
95x12 <--- grip starts to slip (just with my left hand )
95x12 <--- same problem with the left hand grip
    75x15

BB Shrugs - very slow controlled reps, close grip
    135x20
    185x20
    135x20

Standing Smith Machine Calve Raises - didn't put any pressure on the back
    90x10
    180x10
    270x10
    300x10 <-- PB
    270x10
    180x10

    Reverse Grip EZ Bar Curl
    50x15
    60x15

    Seated BB Wrist Curls
    50x20
    50x20

I need to get around to every bodies log, I know I know I'm sorry

yes sir gripping them heavvvy dumbbells is a very nice way to build your forearms, i do the same thing sometimes, until my grip is just dead :crymeariver: and then i pull the straps out :linedrunk:.........always a pleasure stopping by brother without a doubt

great session tweaky pie, like the dumbell shrugs, and im happy to see that ur not focusing so much on the weight on bb shrugs, i really think form and contraction is essential on those.

    good work buddy

Nice work. Our simliraities continue. I too do DB shrugs without straps purely to improve my grip and they fail before I'd like (witness my log I'm about to post).

Good job on the calf PB.
