Australia Day was good, but I'm paying for it today with this hangover. I might or might not train........ hard to say.

Did you train while you were drinking? I always find that works very well.

    ^^ That I kinda did.

Very muggy day here as we have had thunderstorms to follow all this hot weather we have been having. So it was heavy going.

Nice work on the benching Timbo. Also good to see your hitting the CoC's, your wanking grip will be awesome after a while!

^^ I haven't hit the CoC's in ages so it has only been the wanking keeping my crushing strength up!

Last night I had about as much energy as a female porn star after filming a gangbang with an entire footy team. So I think that impacted my front squats a bit, but I did walk away with a PB on the overhead squat!!!!!!

Complex: Snatch; Overhead Squat; Snatch Drop
    20kg 5, 5, 5
    40kg 5, 5, 5
    60kg 2, 5, 2
    70kg 1, 5, 2
    80kg 1, 3, 2

Overhead squat from the Sn Drop
    85kg x2
    90kg x1
    95kg x1 PB!!

    SLDL
    95kg x5
    105kg x5
    110kg x6
    110kg x6
    110kg x6

    Front squat
    60kg x5
    100kg x2
    110kg x2
    115kg x1
    120kg x1
    125kg x1
125kg xfail (not happy as this should have been a double, just couldn't keep my shoulders up)

DB single leg standing calf raise
    22kg x10
    22kg x10

    Hammy curl
    14kg x10
    14kg x10
    14kg x10

    Standing calf raise
    140kg x8
    150kg x10
    150kg x10

    Front calf toe curl
    22kg x15

^^ Scare people is the goal! And they couldn't kick me out if I haven't done anything wrong. I'd make a point of saying "look it's not my fault you can't lift properly".

Dridz: thanks dude. I'm actually considering how to not have so much weight on the shoulders to train calves. It is starting to get ridiculus. I'm doing fatigue sets to do those (that's what the +10 is about). I'm going to make a step to do them on, which may help a bit.

Samoan: I'm hoping you mean you just like the intensity....... hope :keke:

Ok it was hot, muggy and I'd spent all day doing revisions to another "final draft" of my thesis. Didn't really want to train but I did. I did a different program this evening and it worked well. Basically get the weightlifting move and the squat and hammy work then the accessories (today they were dips and chins). Tomorrow will be C&J squat sldl and probably bench and rows.
