    Pickle: You'll get back to it. Time off always makes a big strength deficit. Although if it makes you feel better I think I've lost strength on my chins as I've lost weight.

    Last night was my pulling night. No not that sort. Wasn't particularly motivated after sexy time But I went and lifted anyway. I tried something different on the C&J and it really made the difference on the catch at the shoulder and overhead. Basically I've been doing a power clean all this time and I switched over to a proper full squat clean. Made all the difference. I think I just end up in a better position that allows me to rack the bar at the shoulder and then sets me up to fire the jerk overhead better.

    El Freako: I need a haircut though.

    Skeptic: Lower back was feeling fine that day. I notice it more when I've been doing a lot of driving or woodwork (like this evenings session).

    Natzo: I hope you are talking about my exercise regime and not body parts.

    PV: I'm going to have to back off soon, and maybe change a few things around.

    Miami: At home in the backyard. I occassionally visit a gym, but the vast majority of my training is done outside in the elements.

    ^^ Yep. I was a bit concerned I may have been rounding my lower back right at the bottom, but checked it and it was fine.

    hey timbo lock up the dog and wife and have a decent session. Just a thought. Very nice morning sessions with great chins,snatches and bench. Nice cleans too buddy boy.

    Just rowed for 30mins. No idea how far as the timer was the only accurate thing, guess I need new batteries in it.

    As I was getting changed I got stung on the foot by a scorpion. Hurt like a bitch!! Did the rowing anyway.
