Probably either "I've got Stripes" or "I Still Miss Someone". His cover of Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" is also excellent.

I liked his version of "HURT" right before he died. I grew up listening to JC with my Grandpa. He loved the man in Black.

I'm going with his cover of "Hurt" too although I also really love his "Mercy Seat" cover and "Folsom Prison Blues".
