What was the best movie you watched in 2008? Doesn't have to be a movie that came out 2008, just any movie you have watched in 2008.

I'll make two category's anyway.

Best movie that came out in 2008:

Best movie that I have watched in 2008:

Best movie of 2008: Probably The Dark Knight because I saw it in theaters which made it that much more awesome.

Most interesting random movie that I watched in 2008: XXY

2008 movie that made me LOL the most: Step-Brothers. Dumbest plot, but some of the best profanity I've heard in awhile.

Best movie that I have watched in 2008: Cool Hand Luke http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061512/ (I know its old as hell but you need to watch this movie then you need to go out and find some authority to rebel against.)

For Lulz (as suggested by Tech): Pineapple Express and Superbad respectively.

I can't answer this questions. Too many to tell.

Wall-e ranks high in all the categories you mentioned though. Fuck the Dark Knight.

Why? It's still a good film, possibly a very good one.

For some weird reason, I cannot post a long post. It just lags and never posts it. What is wrong ?

I don't know. Are you using quick reply or going into advanced settings? If you do the latter it should work. If not, you may PM it to me and I will post it.

I send you a PM... guess what, it didn't deliver itself =(

I feel the site has something against me. So anyway, I just took a pic of my reply and here it is:

Most of those movies are cooler, more chic, and equally as badass as The Dark Knight. biggrinsanta

I also seem to be the only person who thought Step Brothers was dreadful. My review should be up later today.

^ why can't you differentiate certain movies from others, (mainly the comedy genre) in that, why was the movie bad seeing as it did what it set out to accomplish so well? it was meant to make people laugh, not to have a fluid plot line or stellar acting/directing. and make people laugh it did. this should be viewed as a sucessful comedy. i think comedy is the only genre that can get away with this as it is often the lack of stellar acting/plot that makes them in fact funny.

unless this movie didn't make you laugh? (you have to be kidding me)
