Do you own a blu-ray player?

Anyone here bought into the world of HD movies? or are you waiting for prices of blu-ray players and movie to drop first?

Heres some 720p Blu-Ray images. Try and guess the movies if you want. (images might take a while to load.)

I was going to get one... but I don't know. It just doesn't appeal to me that much. I know the image quality is orgasmic, but I doubt it will make my cinematic experience that much better. I will wait till the prizes drop.

I Just watch my movies straight from the e-net, we have two HD Players, does the job as of lately, will most likely wait abit for the prices to drop for blu-ray

I've got a PS3, so yeah... but i still usually just watch DVD's on them, only because selection is scarce.

One of my roomates is loaded.... dude has a ps3 and goes out and gets movies all the time.... not to mention a like 50 inch flat screen hd. I watch it sometimes its really nice how clear it is

just got a new 40 inch Samsung LCD tv
120hz refresh rate, 3 year extra warranty etc, 1,300$
4 HDMIs, WISElink, S-video, LAN, etc
very nice, not really big i know, but does 1080p, now i gotta get the new PS3..

Yep through HDMI's into my HD amp into my 46" 1080p LCD.

Picture and sound is noticeably improved providing the source material was good enough to begin with in the transfer. Older films aren't quite so sharp as more recent ones.
