Hello fellow mecca members! :headbang:

I was in Cyprus 1.5 weeks ago and after that I came sick so I havent trained for 3/3.5 weeks...

So I was thinking that should I start training hard ( only heavy sets ) right away or should I take it little bit lighter for the first week or two? I think that going hard from the beginning will affect my nervous system too much?

Thanks for the help :bitelip:

I would ease back into it. Its not worth risking injuries.

Unless the exercises are brand new or you haven't used them in ages you should have a feel as you warmup what weight you should be using.

To be honest a few weeks off is nothing to worry about. If you lost weight while sick it is another matter and your conditioning and recovery will be below normal for several weeks.

I would just not go to failure for a week or two. It wasn't a very long break. Might even have done you some good

I agree with the advices given. Just work your way back up to normal over a few weeks. No hitting failure and keep the reps a little higher to get your conditioning back.
