Are those machines made in Europe who publish in some magazines safe, those machines that have like many cables and you have to put it in your body to "workout" while you are sitting, yes those machines thats costs 400, 800 bucks safe what is the Science behind those "muscle stimeulators" im thinking on buying one when I cant go to the Gym but again I dont want to be seen with cables all over my bodym a friend of mine bought one says it works but im worried if could harm some muscle or some organs.

I think I've heard about a study that showed that these things might have a very small effect on professional athletes. Not in terms of muscle growth but on regeneration/relaxation after a workout.
But if that effect exists, it's tiny and definately not worth the money. ;)

I think they only work in injured muscles for their rehabilitation.

rehab good =) . Temp and natural contraction and vasoconstriction is needed. Bloodflow and localized nutrient intflux just isn't the same without good ole fashioned weights and sweat. Really I'm just bullshitting but you get the idea..

Well, for instance this Machine in this AD> TONEAMATIC that has 4 controls for 429.00 Dollars (page 21 of Mens Workout Magazine Sept, 2009).
