Just announced on CNN, this gives the republicans 41 votes in the senate, so meaning they can block the health care bill and many other of the democrat bills.

Very good news. :borat:

The big part of this story though, is that this was Teddy Kennedy's seat for so many years, plus, Obama won MA by like 26%... the fact they they now elected a republican is huge in showing the sentiment that people in America are starting to have towards the government spending.

true story. My only hope is that with a democratic president who is a massive socialist, and a democratic congress which is not a filibuster-proof majority, the republicans slowdown the spending train simply because of the democrats. Hopefully a few more true "constitutional conservatives" get elected in the process.

I was very happy to hear this news. I am curious what kind of politician he becomes. If he believes in small government and is fiscally conservative I am all for him. Seems like he has the personality to become President if he does well. Kind of like the Republican's Obama so to speak.

Interesting insight, I thought the same of him too.
