Agree with you and like to say besides improving memory, brain function and physical fitness, aerobic exercises increase in total blood volume, more effective breathing and makes heart strong. Aerobic exercises improve circulation, burn calories and reduce the risk of obesity, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Yes, any kind of aerobic exercise that is good for your heart, is good for the brain as well- aerobic exercise improves brain function and repairs damaged brain cells as well. Some good aerobic exercise also affects the nervous system, and encourages the brain to produce pleasure chemicals, like dopamine.

Being forgetful makes us unproductive and reduces the quality of life especially old people. But increasing the blood flow in a certain brain region that involved in memory helps us remember well. And it can be done through intense physical activity such as aerobic. Also, in increases the size of the hippocampus, a brain area involved in verbal memory and learning.
