Czech bodybuilding giant Tomas Kapsar (115 kg) won the overall title at the historical 1st Ben Weider Diamond Cup hold this weekend in Athens, Greece. Kaspar started to compete internationally in 2012, participating in the Arnold Classic America (up to100 kg category) but with no success (out of the top 10). This autumn he moved up to the super heavyweight division and was much more successful, finishing second at the Arnold Classic Europe in Madrid, Spain, and then winning the overall title at the PEPA Grand Prix in Opava, Czech Republic. He didn’t keep it secret that he was going to Athens to win the Pro Card and achieved his goal. Congratulations!
First, he had to win his bodyweight category (+95 kg) over two biggest challengers: Markus Hoppe (Germany) and Ibrahim Wissam (Sweden). In the overall battle he met two Greek champions from the lower categories: Anastasios MINIDIS (85 kg class) and Georgios PAPADAKIS (95 kg class) and won once again.
