I was 5'7 168lbs 10% bodyfat with a 265lbs bench in November 2013 when I stopped lifting to start a corp. I could not lift for a year and a half straight so now I'm 165 12% bodyfat. I was pretty much malnutritioned and experienced extreme low intakes of things that were probably essential to my health.

I need to get back into my journey to my first competition and I think I am in a "catabolic state". Instead of a normal 2 hour lifting session I only do 2 exercises per body part now and it seems like they are completely maxed out and get their gains.

Will having not lifted for 1.5 years give me n00b gains again? Is there anything special that I can do to get extreme gains in my current position? I know I can somehow take advantage of not having lifted for this long, just would like to ask for some good advice from good people.
